I Don’t Know

Minimee and I had a great Father’s Day. We went to see The Incredible Hulk, which we enjoyed immensely. That movie is one hell of a ride. Then we went to what is currently our favorite spot Parkside Restaurant and had the most enlightening conversation. I ordered my usual twin deluxe burgers with American and he, much to my surprise, ordered a grilled chicken caesar salad.

Going back to my post Chawlk. I decided that just going at him and being too direct might overwhelm him and I didn’t want to come across as too much of an authority figure.

Today, I was asked by Digi if how did I have the talk with my son. I replied I haven’t! Surprised, You haven’t? I thought you would have jumped at the chance to have the talk with him.

The truth is I don’t know how to approach the subject with him. Sometimes talking to him is like talking to a sixteen or seventeen year old but he is just twelve. I know the talk is long overdue. By the time I was twelve, I had already been having sex for a little while.
